Editing a Datasheet

There are nine tabs that allow you to edit the information displayed within the Datasheet.

  1. Main

    1. Allows you to create a bid.

      1. Click ‘Create Bid’ to continue to the bid screen.

    2. Gives the option to Print or Email the Datasheet

      1. Click ‘Print Datasheet’, this will generate a PDF of the datasheet that you can then print

      2. Click ‘Email Datasheet’, this will take you to a new screen with the option to add additional email addresses and a note.

    3. Change Datasheet Name

      1. Click ‘Change Datasheet Name’ to assign a new name to the datasheet.

    4. Next Call Date--when a date is entered into this textbox, the salesperson will receive an alert notifying them to follow-up on this datasheet. A notification alert is sent via email along with an alert displayed on your JobPro homepage.

  2. Address and Tax

    1. This tab allows you to update the Job address and Tax rate information.

  3. Contacts

    1. This tab allows you to view contact associated with the Datasheet along with adding new ones.

      1. Add New Contacts’ allows you to enter an entirely new contact to the Datasheet

      2. Add Existing Contacts’ allows you to add a contact who is associated with the assigned customer

      3. Add Outside Contacts’ allows you to add a contact who is associated with a different customer

  4. Request Questions

  5. Appointments

    1. Within this tab you have the ability to add appointments. This can be anything like a meeting or planned dates to visit the job site. These appointments will display in your appointments calendar.

  6. Related Bids Profit Analysis

    1. Shows you similar bids you’ve submitted to get an idea where your money is going.

  7. Notes

    • Any notes you have added to the job will appear in this tab

    • You can also add new notes here by entering your note in the text box and clicking ‘Add Note’

    • Once a note has been added it CANNOT be deleted

    • if a note has been added, the ‘notes’ tab will be highlighted yellow

  8. Documents

    1. Displays all documents that have been uploaded for this datasheet.

    2. Click ‘Add Document’ to upload a saved file.

      1. Once your file has been chosen you have the option to add a description in the textbox to describe the file.

      2. You can also email any uploaded documents by clicking the ‘Email’ button next to the document you’d like to send

      3. If you need to remove a document, simply click the red X to the right of the document you’d like to remove.

  9. Reports History

    1. Contains any report that has been created for this datasheet

      1. Within this tab you have the option to either print the results by clicking the ‘Print’ button, or export the results into an Excel workbook by clicking ‘Excel

When you are finished editing the Datasheet, be sure to click ‘Save’ or ‘Save and Return’ to save your work.
