Types of Inventory in JobPro

JobPro has three options regarding utilizing inventory in the system: None, Lite, and Full.

None - No access to any inventory feature in JobPro

Lite - Access to Physical Counts and Stock Orders

Full - Access to all inventory features in JobPro:

  • Inventory Searches

  • Stock Orders

  • Inventory Pick Lists

  • Inventory Purchase Orders

  • Physical Counts

Permissions

Each of these listed permissions can be customized depending on the user, and you can have a combination of useres within your offices that have different permissions or access to different features. For example, one user can have the ability to enter physical counts and only view stock orders, while another has the opposite. They can be turned off and turned on as needed depending on the user’s job responsibilities.

View/Enter Physical Counts

Users can have their permissions set up where they can either both view and enter Physical Counts, or only be able to view Physical Counts, where they cannot enter or make any changes or updates.

Search Inventory

Users can have their permissions set up where they can have the ability to search Inventory.

Add/Search Stock Orders

Users can have their permissions set up where they can either both view and create Stock Orders, or only be able to view Stock Orders, where they cannot create or make any changes or updates.

Search Warehouse

Users can have their permissions set up where they can have the ability to search Warehouses.

Using Scheduler for Inventory PO’s

JobPro’s Scheduler gives you the ability to schedule Purchase Orders and Stock Orders using a delivery crew to bring/pick up material to and from a job or warehouse, which come with a delivery date field that you can enter a date into and will show up on the Scheduler. This functions just like anything else on the Scheduler, such as scheduling jobs, as the Purchase Orders will display on the right hand side and can be clicked and dragged to the day of the week that you choose. You can right click to edit the event, or open the Purcahse Order page and edit the delivery date and crew that is assigned to the order as well.

Make PO’s “Read Only”

JobPro has a permission that can be turned on for specific users where if they click into a Purchase Order, Pick List, Stock Order, etc., they can only view/read it. The user will not be able change or update any of the information within the order and can only reference it for a job.

Automate Sourcing
If turned on, automates material sourcing and auto-creates pick lists via Allocate Material on the Job Processing tab.

Limited Inventory - Access to Physical Counts
If enabled, allows a user with Limited Inventory to access physical counts.

Limited Inventory - Access to Inventory Search
If enabled, allows a user with Limited Inventory to access inventory search.

Limited Inventory - Access to Stock Orders
If enabled, allows a user with Limited Inventory to create/receive stock orders.

Limited Inventory - Access to Search Warehouses
If enabled, allows a user with Limited Inventory to search warehouses.

Warehouses - Delete Bins
Warehouses - Delete Bins

Edit Inventory Purchase Order
Allows a user to edit Inventory Purchase Orders
