FINALIZE CHANGE ORDER TO A SPECIFIC WORK ORDER

Prior to this release, accepted (finalized) change order items were added to the job from which the change order was created.  For example, if the change order was created from the Change Order tab on the parent job, then the accepted (finalized) change order would automatically be added to the parent job.

In an effort to make adding additional items easier, accepting (finalizing) a change order will prompt the user to decide which work order the change order items will be added.  Users will be able to select the parent job or any of the associated work orders.

EXTEND PROPOSED VS. ACTUAL DIFFERENCE TO "PROFIT AFTER COMM" AND "NET PROFIT AFTER COMM AND OVERHEAD" COLUMN ON JOB PROFIT REPORT

The Job Profit report is being enhanced to continue the +/- (difference) section of the report between the proposed amount and the actual amount for the following report columns: “Profit After COMM” (profit after commission) and “Net Profit After COMM and Overhead” (net profit after commission and overhead).

NEW ORGANIZATIONAL SETTING: REQUIRE JOB TYPE

JobPro is introducing a new, optional organization setting that would require the organization’s users to choose a job type once a job is created.

The job type is integral in many of the reports found inside of JobPro and, inasmuch, we have had organizations ask for us to make this a require field for their users.  Now, organizations will have that option.

We highly recommend that all jobs for all organizations be given a job type; otherwise, reporting may be incomplete for your organization.

If you would like for our team to turn ON this new, organizational feature, please contact our Support Team at support@jobprotech.com.

DEFAULT "SHIP TO" ADDRESS IN AUTO-CREATED PURCHASE ORDERS

Purchase orders created automatically upon job creation (organization setting) will default the job address as the “Ship To” address.

OFFICE FOR CLONED BID

When a user clones a bid, the newly cloned bid will default to the original bid’s office.  However, only the offices that are associated to the user will be eligible to show in the list of offices for the newly cloned bid.

UPDATES

Issue: An error is thrown if the display name for a bid’s group/option exceeds 100 characters.

Resolution: The size limit has been increased to accommodate any reasonable   group/option description.

Issue: Users were able to put two delivery crews on the same purchase order.

Resolution: JobPro has added a check in the system to prevent more than one delivery crew per purchase order.
